Alex M.O.R.P.H. plays an integral part in one of dance music's biggest legacies. A top Dj, Producer and Remixer, Alex is also a member (along with Paul van Dyk, the owner) of the legendary Vandit crew.
Those who are familiar with the Electronic Music scene can attest to the fact that EDM would not be the same without they're influence. VANDIT is one of the most prestigious and most reputable world-wide.
After he released his debut artist album PURPLE AUDIO (June 2009), and other TNTs (top notch tracks) such as "Wanna Be" along Michael, and also "Photograph" (January 2009), Alex and Vandit Records strike again with another hit, called "Sunset Boulevard" along pure-bliss vocalist, singer and song writer Ana Criado. The single was first released secretly by Alex himself at the annual Trance Energy in The Netherlands in 2009 and has since become a fan favourite and was added in heavy rotation at all major radio shows out there.
Alex kicks off 2010 for Vandit (Europe) and also Sun to Sea/Loverush Digital (United States) picked it for the US and UK market in fine style with this blistering peak timer making a fresh interpretation of it, therefore "2010 looks very promising. "Sunset Boulevard" is about that euphoric, dreamy, epic Trance Sound, that a track can deliver, being sustained almost all the time, resembling an electric piano and the angelic voice in the background, that literally takes you million miles away from home in just few seconds, giving You that "glimpse of Heaven" You are always looking for, also goose bumps all over the body while listening, something that a real Vocal Trance lover can relate to. Alex and Ana make a dynamic duo, that works well in terms of production.
"Sunset Boulevard" it's a typical "good morning" Trance tune, more then that, sounds equally suited to sunrise, it does spread some of the emotion and energy, that Alex can make You feel like, inspiring and great, it just fits in to? anything relaxing. The original version is a gentle and light track, amazing tune nonetheless, having loads of awesome spread throughout the whole EDM spectrum.
Remix duty falls to Vandit Records owner himself. The Grammy award winning artist, the one and only, favourite and German superstar Paul van Dyk himself. Next to his name we can also add Loverush UK!, Sted-E & Hybrid Heights, Ilya Malyuev, Timothy Allan.
Paul's already well known for his addition within the EDM spectrum, as being one of the first pioneers of electronic music he will certainty not be needing an introduction. Paul already played the track on his weekly Vonyc Session, being aired/broadcasted on several major FM radio stations and streaming stations as well. Paul's remix has already been picked up by Armin van Buuren on his A State Of Trance radio show, also Tiesto's Club Life and other major names.
Paul van Dyk ups the groove whilst adding techy elements and reworks the main structure to great effect, succeeding to a remarkable sound, using a classic synth that is quite reminiscent of the sound of the early 90's, the 1995's Robert Miles' track "Children" at the right beginning of the track, a sound that makes the track unique and easy to understand, while listening.
