First and foremost I would like to say that I appreciate you having this interview with me for TranceSound.net
1. Can You please give us some history on how You became the one and only, the one we all know, Max Graham ?
Max Graham: Hahaha... well it's all in my biography... but I started out as a Hip Hop scratch Dj... progressed to top 40.. then in 1996 discovered house music and the rest is history.
2. About a month ago, You dropped a project earlier called "Cycles" so how would You compare the new album to the last and what can You tell us about it ?
Max Graham: Well "Transport" was part of a series and this is my own concept, obviously the music has changed but both are still very me.
3. Once this project drops what do You look forward to hearing from all EDM lovers around the world ?
Max Graham: Just that they enjoy the variety of music I choose, I don't like to stick with one genre and it's hard to make everyone happy but I hope I get some smiles with this album.
4. Talking about tracks from Your mix album, I can easily see that "I know You are gone" along Jessica Jacobs it has been added there, even thou I know this track for the last couple of years, but still making a buzz to shout about, what can You tell us about it ?
Max Graham: Well this mix is brand new, Whelan and Di Scala did it for me and it's amazing, it breathes new life into the track for sure.
5. So what it was like when You first met Yes and how come You made a remix of the one of the most cutting edge tracks back in the '80s ?
Max Graham: I never met them, but I love the original so it was a natural mix for me to do.
6. Talking about this, I have seen the clip for the "Owner of a Lonely Heart" which was made in the UK, I can easily recognize the British style thou, but what actually made You coming back to the UK for shooting the clip ?
Max Graham: I actually had nothing to do with the video unfortunately, Ministry of Sound made that for the UK market so it made sense to make it in the UK.
7. Coming back to Your production side, what can You tell us about the mix of "Swedish beatballs" from the well known Swedish producer and remixer Marcus Schossow ?
Max Graham: It was a very last minute mix I did for Markus Schulz, we were on ichat and he asked me to do the mix, I was in a very inspired mood and made it in about a day.
8. How do You feel about the crowd's response to 'Frozen' ?
Max Graham: It's been very solid, a really nice breakdown always gets people.
9. What are Your personal top 5 favorite top notch tunes of the moment ?
Max Graham: Wow tough one, anything by patch park as you can probably tell from the CD.
10. Since I know that Your discography looks so impressive, can You please share with us who are some artists that You would love to work with in the future ?
Max Graham: Bjork, Sade haha.. those are voices I would love to remix.
11. Before we end up this exclusive interview, are there any other comments that You would like to share with Your fans, as well as members of TranceSound.net ?
Max Graham: Just that they can keep in touch with me through Facebook and MySpace, I love being able to keep in contact with people who love the music.
